Well, folks it has been a whirlwind of fun being one of the judges of the NY1 Song Contest. There were so many entries to choose from, but, there can only be one winner and they are the K. O. Chicks!!!!. I am looking forward to meeting these young ladies and sharing with them knowledge that they can take with them for a lifetime as they further their careers. I just loved their originality and their confidence, and like us judges… the camera loves them too! I hope you all fall for them as well. Big Congrats to NY1's first ever Song Contest Winners....THE KO CHICKS!!!!....They truly KO'd the competition

It was an honor to be a judge in the NY1 Music Video Contest. The wealth of talent in the NYC area was astounding! The contest restored my faith in the creativity of the music world as many contestants used their imagination and talent to produce their unique version of the NY1 song. Congrats to the KO Chicks!! Their video was fun, energizing, and catchy. I'm looking forward to hearing and seeing them do the final product. And who knows where it might lead them? The NY1 song today; the Grammys tomorrow!!! Hey, you never know--either way we can say that they are a product of the greatest city in the world!!!
